Clovis brings home nine postseason All-Central Valley Conference accolades
After capturing their first-ever Central Valley Conference championship, nine members of the Clovis Crush women's soccer team received postseason All-CVC honors.
Freshman Angela Petrakis tops the list as she was recognized as the CVC Goalkeeper of the Year. She helped lead Clovis to seven shutouts this season.
The Crush had four earn All-CVC first-team honors. The list includes freshman midfielder Karyme Hernandez, sophomore defender Brianna Garcia, sophomore defender Jackie Segura, and freshman forward Irene Zamora. Named second-team were freshman midfielder Leslie Zepeda, freshman midfielder Keska Turner, freshman defender Lena Robertson, and sophomore defender Karlee Hodges.
Clovis wrapped up the season with a 10-8-3 overall record and went 7-2-1 in conference to earn a share of the CVC title. Under head coach Orlando Ramirez, the Crush made their third consecutive postseason appearance and reached the second round of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.
