Crush Swim & Dive Team Ready to Dive into 4th Season
With 12 student athletes on the men’s team and 13 student athletes on the women’s team we look forward to a successful season. A former Crush swimmer, Patricia “Trish” Lucas, made a splash in the Division I scene this year, earning a spot on the Fresno State Bulldogs roster, becoming one of their most stable influences in the 400 individual medley and 200 butterfly. Trish earned CCCAA All-America status in both of these events last year with the Crush, and was also named the Bay Valley Conference Women's Swimmer of the Year.

This year, we are proud to return six women's state qualifiers and two men's qualifiers. Our returning male diver, Jaylan Neal, finished 6th at the CCCAA State Championship in the 1m springboard diving event and looks to return to his CCCAA All-American list. Our other male CCCAA state returnee, Dante Ramos, finished 6th at the State Championship in 2017. After a red-shirt year, he is poised to come back to the podium at the CCCAA championships in the distance freestyle events.
Our women's relay teams are very strong this year. After our women swept all five relays at the BVC Championships last year and qualified for state in every relay, six of our women are returning to repeat the trend. We also added three first year female student athletes who have best times that exceed our team records in many events. Freshmen, Dani Denton (Reedley HS), Helen Harris (Clovis North HS), and Samantha Rockey (Yosemite HS) all look to lead our lady Crush swim team to the next level.
The Crush coaching staff is very proud of the team's commitment and progress. Our first competition is in a "three-way dual" meet with Alan Hancock College and hosted by Santa Rosa Junior College on Friday, February 1.
We are also looking forward to partnering with Fresno City College to host the two day "Ram-Crush Invitational" at Clovis North High School on Friday and Saturday, February 22-23, which will bring teams from as far away as Southern California (Pasadena City) and the Bay Area (Diablo Valley). We hope that this will become a premier event for CCCAA schools to come together in the Central Valley to compete at our excellent venue.
