Clovis Men’s Soccer captures six All-CVC postseason honors
Following the close of the 2021 regular season for the Clovis Community College men's soccer team, six members of Crush earned All-Central Valley Conference postseason accolades.
Leading the way for the Crush was sophomore Ryan Rosas as he was named the Central Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Rosas anchored a Clovis defense that posted four shutouts. He also scored twice and added two assists. Rosas was a first-team All-CVC selection as a freshman in 2019.
Earning first-team All-Central Valley Conference honors were sophomore forwards Tyler Ferguson and Saul Castillo (Sanchez). Second-team All-CVC picks were freshman defender Raul Garcia, freshman midfielder Julio Moran, and sophomore defender Jose Rivera.
Clovis wrapped up the season with a 7-10-4 overall record and finished fourth in the final CVC standings with a 4-4-2 mark under head coach Chad McCarty.
