Lamborn leads Crush men to fourth place showing at NorCal Preview
Paced by freshman Pierson Lamborn's 16th-place finish, the Clovis Community College men's cross country team totaled 121 points to take fourth place at the 2021 NorCal Preview meet at Sierra College in Rocklin on Friday.
Lamborn closed out the four-mile course with a time of 22:30.3. Up next for Clovis was sophomore Abraham Cordova in 26th place at 23:10.4, followed by freshman Mitchell Neal in 30th with his time of 23:25.5.
Rounding out Clovis' top-50 finishers were freshman Adrian Cuevas in 39th (24:05.0), sophomore Charlie Sawyer in 43rd (24:17.4), freshman Jeremiah Stott (24:17.5), and freshman Cameron Van Zant in 48th (24:30.0).

Hartnell College claimed the men's team competition with 36 points and were led by individual winner Isaac Gensel and his time of 21:28.9.
The Clovis Crush men's cross country team returns to action on Oct. 1 when it will compete at the Hartnell College Toro Park Invitation in Salinas.
