Rhiannon Walker / Aron Teffra, Clovis Crush Student-Athletes of the Week

This week’s Clovis Crush Student-Athletes of the Week are Rhiannon Walker and Aron Teffra from the women’s and men’s cross country teams.

Rhiannon and Aron both took first place individually to help lead their squads to team titles at the Central Valley Conference Championships on Oct. 25 at Woodward Park in Fresno. It was the fifth straight CVC championship for the women while the men won their first conference title in program history.

Rhiannon is a freshman originally out of Fresno High School. She is majoring in kinesiology. Aron, a sophomore from Central East High School, is a math & computer science major and currently holds a 3.25 GPA.

Up next for both Crush cross country teams is the Northern California Regional Championships. The meet is set for Nov. 3 at Hidden Valley Park in Martinez.
