Lisbeth Mendez – Clovis Crush Student-Athlete of the Week

This week’s Clovis Crush Student-Athlete of the Week is Lisbeth Mendez from the women cross country team!
Lisbeth was the Crush’s No. 5 scoring runner at this past weekend’s 3C2A State Championships at Woodward Park.
She finished in 61st place overall out of a field of 167 runners. Her time of 20:25 shattered her personal-best time in the 5K by 57 seconds! Clovis went on to take third place, the team’s highest finish at the state championships in program history.
Lisbeth is a freshman out of Madera South High School and is a kinesiology major.
