The Clovis Crush Women's Soccer team kept their winning ways on Tuesday afternoon with a 6-1 win against Hartnell College.
No time was wasted, with the Crush scoring in the 1st minute of the match on an individual effort by sophomore Savannah Dungan, scoring from the right side of the box. Hartnell would tie the match in the 10th minute, but it was all Clovis after that. Dungan doubled her tally on the day, scoring in the 17th minute off a cross from freshman Brooke Gill. Gill would figure on the next two goals before half, scoring her own in the 22nd minute and assisting again for sophomore Nataly Sanchez in the 34th minute.
In the second half, the Crush would add two more to seal the win. Sophomore Mia Castillo would add the fifth off an assist from freshman Ariana Quintero in the 61st minute. Quintero would finish the day off in the 79th minute with her team leading sixth goal of the season, chipping a ball over the goalie after a great through ball from Dungan.
The Crush now have an overall record of 3-1-2 and look forward to their home match this Friday at 3:00pm against 2017 CCCAA State Runner-Up Santa Barbara City College. Go Crush!!!
