SANTA ROSA – Sophomore Precious Martinez tallied a goal and added an assist to help lead the Clovis Community College women's soccer team to a 4-1 win at Santa Rosa Junior College on Tuesday.
The non-conference victory evened up Clovis' overall record at 1-1-1.
Four different members of the Crush scored. Martinez started the rout with her goal in the eighth minute. Clovis added first-half goals by Maria Garcia in the 29th and Jordyne Puentes in the 33rd. Alyssa Ruelas closed out the scoring with her goal in the 60th minute.
Carly Tynan (60 minutes, 1 goal allowed) and Ana Reyna (30 min.) combined for the win in goal for the Crush.
Clovis returns to action next Tuesday (Sep. 13) when the Crush host San Joaquin Delta College in a 1 p.m. non-conference game.
