CLOVIS – The Clovis Community College women's soccer team bounced back from a loss on Friday to defeat visiting Lemoore College 3-0 on Tuesday.
The Central Valley Conference win improved the Crush to 4-11-1 overall and 3-6-1 in the CVC.
Clovis took a 1-0 lead into halftime after Serenity Torres scored just moments before the break in the 45th minute off the assist from Madison Martinez and Milea Rogers.
Kinsey McIntosh opened the second half with her goal in the 46th minute and Camren Rogers closed out the scoring with a goal in the 90th minute thanks to the assist from Jasmin Jauregui.
Kaylen Guerra was solid in goal for the Crush to earn the shutout. It marked Clovis' fourth shutout of the season.
The Crush return to the field on Friday (Nov. 1) when they travel to Taft College for a Central Valley Conference game.
RAMIREZ HONORED FOR 100TH CRUSH VICTORY
Crush women's soccer head coach Orlando Ramirez was honored at the game for earning his 100th career win with the program. Ramirez was joined by his family, members of the team, athletic department staff, as well as CCC Interim President Dr. Monica Chahal.
Ramirez picked up the milestone victory on Oct. 1, a 1-0 win over Taft College.
