The Clovis Community College women's soccer team will be making its fifth straight postseason appearance. On Monday, the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) released brackets for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs.
The Crush received No. 9 seed for the tournament and will host No. 24 West Valley College in a first-round game on Wednesday (Nov. 16) at 2:00 p.m.
Ticket prices for the CCCAA postseason game are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. Tickets may be purchased in advanced online at the following link. TICKETS
Clovis, under head coach Orlando Ramirez, enters the playoffs with a 13-5-3 overall record and finished second in the Central Valley Conference at 11-2-1. Last season, the Crush advanced to the second round.
West Valley wrapped up the regular season with a 5-14 overall record and finished fourth in the Coast Conference South Division at 3-6. West Valley and Clovis met earlier this season with the Crush winning 2-0 in Saratoga.
The winner of Wednesday's contest will advance to play at No. 8 Cabrillo College in a second-round game on Saturday (Nov. 19). Four wins are needed by Clovis to advance to the 2022 CCCAA State Championships on Dec. 2 & 4 at American River College in Sacramento.
